GetThru provides specialized pricing aimed at serving the needs of both higher education and K-12 institutions.
Higher education clients can choose to pay as you go at the rate of $0.25 per messaged contact per month. They may also choose to purchase a subscription plan, with either unlimited texting plan or a bulk purchase to lock in a lower rate. Our pricing for K-12 clients is based on an annual fee for unlimited texting. Schools with enrollment above 500 pay $3,000 annually for unlimited texting. Schools with enrollment below 500 pay $2,300 annually for unlimited texting.

Yes! ThruText has a full, two-way sync with the VAN that covers its many iterations: Votebuilder, EveryAction, State Voices, America Votes, the Labor Activation Network, and NGP. That means you can cut a list of people you want to text in the VAN and pull it directly into ThruText, as well as record data in ThruText that gets synced back to activist codes, survey questions, or event RSVPs in the VAN. There’s no app download required, but you can use ThruText on any phone or tablet using our responsive web application.
The messages come from an independent, normal, 10-digit cell phone number — just like a message from a friend or family member — that way you’re not exposing personal cell phone numbers to hundreds or thousands of people. You can typically select a local area code for the phone number that the messages come from — but since the stock of available phone numbers is always changing, we can’t guarantee the availability of a particular area code.

ThruText accounts can be set up within a single business day after you sign a basic service agreement. Once set up, you can begin your 10DLC process. Once your 10DLC information is approved, you can start texting!

Yes! ThruTalk can call all types of phones, including cell phones, landlines, and VOIP at blazing fast speeds.

You cannot do robocalls or leave live or recorded voicemails in ThruTalk
ThruTalk works better with more people so we recommend getting as many concurrent callers as possible, but the system does not have a minimum amount of callers. If you have a very low amount of callers or a very low amount of calls to make, ThruTalk may not be the best option for your use case.
Instant Follow-up allows callers to send a pre-written, customized text message to the person they called at the click of a button. Clients have used Instant Follow-up for event invite confirmations, GOTV plan reminders, fundraising pledge chasers, and even just as a way to collect new contact information while promoting a new video or news article.
